Mixtape #23 is a short fiction musical about Zane, a college athlete and aspiring DJ, who falls for the secretly damaged girl, Aria. Armed with a wall around her heart, Aria does not let Zane in easily. Through the advice of his best friend, Greyson, Zane gets to know Aria and they start dating. Their relationship is progressing well, when Zane is faced with a difficult decision: does he put himself first or keep his promise to her? When he makes his choice, he must earn her trust back, learning that love means sacrificing oneself. She learns that letting love in can make you stronger.
